And a little bit from me......

Kenya is a truly enchanting and beautiful country. One moment, you can gaze across the expansive savannah, as a lion stealthily approaches its prey. The next, you might find yourself in pure bliss, listening to the soothing waves and soaking in the stunning ocean view. It’s a place where nature's wonders continually captivate.

When I first arrived in 2013, I was initially apprehensive due to the media's portrayal of Kenya and my background in the security sector. However, my fears quickly faded—within weeks, I quickly realized how mistaken I had been. On that first day, a local Kenyan man greeted us with a warm smile, lifting our daughter into his arms and singing a joyful welcome song. It was a moment of genuine human connection that I will always cherish.

Over the years, I have grown to admire the remarkable skills and talents of the people here, including a talented artisan who creates beautiful banana boxes. His craftsmanship is exceptional, and a donation for him would not only support his work but also provide much-needed assistance for his family. This is where I seek your support. There are countless artisans here whose work deserves broader recognition. If you have ideas for new designs—be it bags, glasses, other items—please share them with me. Your suggestions could create opportunities for talented artisans, many of whom live in extreme poverty. Currently, we  showcase their products at trade fairs and shows in the UK during the summer. However, with your support, we can expand these efforts and help provide a sustainable future for these skilled individuals and their families. I humbly request your donations to help turn this vision into reality. Together, we can create change and make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
